Meet Ms. Easterling Meet Mrs. Chapp
I fell in love with St. Anne and the students six years ago when I taught library at the school. It was obvious that the staff, the students and the parents were a close, faith filled community. This will be my seventh year teaching but my first year teaching fifth grade at St. Anne. I am so excited to take this journey with my students.
I was born in Sterling Heights but moved prior to my high school years to Lima, Ohio. I spent two years as an undergraduate at University of Kentucky before moving back to Michigan. I graduated from Wayne State University with a BA in Business majoring in Finance. I spent several years working in management but always felt that my calling was to teach. I went on to further my education at Oakland University and completed my Masters in Elementary Education in 2011. I tell my students each year that I am a life long learner and want to instill in them a love of learning. I live in Warren with my two funny felines, Bonnie and Clyde! I sing in the Contemporary Choir at my church. I work to travel! I have been blessed with many opportunities to expand my adventurous spirit of experiencing different cultures in our amazing world. I love anything that has to do with the local arts and theater, reading, baking, college basketball and of course the University of Michigan football team. Go Big Blue! I cannot wait to make some memories with all of you this year! email: [email protected] |

My name is Mrs. Chapp and I am thrilled to be teaching fifth grade at St. Anne. I have been a member of the St. Anne Parish my whole life. My sisters and I were all baptized here and attended St. Anne School through 8th grade. My own children, Sebastian and Nathan, are now Eagles themselves!
I graduated from Oakland University in 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education. I later received a Masters Degree in Reading and Language Arts from OU. I have been teaching since 2001, and have been a Catholic School teacher since 2009. I love the environment of a Catholic school and feel like I do my best teaching in this kind of community. I live in Warren with my husband and our two boys. We recently rescued two dogs, Rosie and Luna, who keep us very busy. We enjoy traveling together, especially up north. In my spare time I like to read, listen to music, spend time near the water, and make stuff. I look forward to a successful and fun year with everyone! email: [email protected] |
